9TO5 Supplies (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates 9to5supply.ca. This page explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and the password you set when creating an account.
- Order information: shipping and billing addresses, items purchased, and order history.
- Payment information: card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, and basic analytics about how the site is used.
How we use it
We use your information to process and ship your orders, send transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets), and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties
We share information with service providers only as needed to run the store: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and our shipping carriers. Each of these has their own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can update or delete your account information at any time by signing in. To request deletion of your data, email us at [email protected].
Email & marketing (CASL)
We send transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets) as part of providing the service. Marketing emails — like new-drop announcements — are only sent with your consent, which you give by signing up for our newsletter. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. This is consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work (for example, to keep your cart and session) and basic analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect checkout.
Data retention
We keep order and account information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, provide support, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.
Your rights (PIPEDA)
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent for non-essential uses. To make a request, email [email protected]. If you have an unresolved concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
